I dont think Tiger Eyes is going to be too picky about pH. As long as you plant it good well drained soil with some amending you will be fine. The better the soil the more productive the plant

Looking to purchase a large Tiger Eyes Sumac. Where can I find larger plants
I have a very steep road bank 10 - 13 which faces north must wear golf shoes to cut the grass weeds. I am locatrd by Des Moines, Iowa. I would like to start tiger eyes sumac from seed plant it on the bank next spring. If seed is not available I could try plants if not too expensive. Estimaye tota area to be approx. 2,500 sq. ft.. Can plants bee set out now
