From Question and Answer Forums: What are others saying about this plant?
This crab had a high mortality rate when planted as a street tree by the city of Cincinnati. It reportedly has a high fireblight susceptibility. Fruits are infrequent but large. Flowers are not significant. Very little for me to recommend and many drawbacks.
This tree is reported to be highly susceptible to fireblight and my own observations have confirmed this.
